Hi, after upgrade mi CCR1036 to 6.19 with all packages I have this problem with paypal notifications:
Result: PayPal - ssl connection error: handshake failed [unable to get certificate CRL] (6)
Type: PayPal
I have unchecked Secure Response and checked Accept Pending in payments gateways. Public ip its correct because before its Works fine. Paypal send me that fail IPN notifications with this form:

I have found that I can configure a rb750 v6.13 and that works!
But my rb2011 and rb1100 with v6.19 stopped working 1st September (they were v6.15 and that didn’t work either)
I am now going to upgrade the working rb750 to 6.19 and see if it stops also.
From what I have read I think this error is the Mikrotik looking back at Paypal to confirm the identity of paypal as the sender of the payment IPN. It looks lik it is the Mikrotik that is refusing to recognise Paypal.

Are you testing on RB750? PayPal say to me that all its ok, so must be any mikrotik bug after upgrade
More testing:
I upgraded my working 750 to 6.19 and papal stopped working!
I then downgraded to 6.13 and it started working again!
So this is now looking like a firmware issue.
I’m now going to downgrade a 2011 to see if it is the same.
I will report back.
Its possible to open a ticket to advertirse this problems to resolver as soon as possible.?
Right, you can use any version up to and including 6.18. That works but 6.19 breaks it.
I sent a support request to Mikrotik but the reply I got was to “set my public IP address”. Of course I have done all of this already so I don’t think they believe there is an issue with 6.19.
My advise is just use 6.18 and be happy with it for now.
(BTW, I tried 6.20rc and that doesn’t work either.)

After a couple of days running v6.25 seems that the problem is solved.

Hi all I got handshake error as of this morning, I currently have 11 hotspot locations that can not accept payments due to the changes that paypal rolled out on the 23rd March 2015.
Is anyone else suffering with this issue? If so what’s the best solution for this issue?

Mikrotik support looks like already working on this issue but without success. ROS 6.28rc17 and User Manager 6.28rc17 should solve this but it still throws the same error.
Any solution?
Please send supout files with v6.28rc17 and manager logs enabled after a failed paypal request to support@mikrotik.com.
