On a 5 PCI slot x86 board we will put 5 mpci to PCI converters with 5 SR and XR series cards.
3 of them will serve as AP one will be used for backbone and one will be for failover.
Did anybody tried such a setup ? If so how it performs ?
Is there any problems with the mpci cards running next to each other in terms of intereference issues on a PC board ?

we tested 24 minipci cards, in a PC with 6xPCI slots, and each having a 4 slot miniPCI adapter inside
it worked fine heat wise, but I don’t know how it performs in real life situations
I had problems - had to reduce TX-power of the cards. So I suggest to go for less powerful cars for this setup and concentrate on more powerful antennas
