So I used fewi’s pcq rules and created address lists.
I can add a user in the hotspot and that user will be managed by the PCQ rules. But how to get a signup user to go through PayPal and usermanager and tie into the PCQ rules is the question?
Is it possible to create a “profile” or “limitatation” pointing to an address list created in the PCQ rules?
Thanks
Disclaimer: I don’t use User Manager.
Here’s an idea, though.
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:RADIUS_Client#Access-Accept
Mikrotik-Group - Router local user group name (defines in /user group) for local users. HotSpot default profile for HotSpot users.
If there’s a User Manager setting for that create an entry in “/ip hotspot user profile” and set the address-list parameter, then configure User Manager to send the name of the profile with the ACCESS-ACCEPT. The router should then inherit all the user profile settings for that login that aren’t overwritten by other RADIUS attributes, including the address list, and subsequently add the IP address to the address list.
Whether you can do that with User Manager I don’t know though, and I also wouldn’t know how.
hmmm, thanks I’ll give it a go.
I would like to know how’s the progress in these setup. Im using also fewi’s steps in his pdf about hotspot and iam currently using userman also but having trouble to shape the bandwidth traffic example Daily account profile in Hotspot is using PCQ-1M and i wanted to shape the traffic whenever streaming is active there will be a child queue to it that is using PCQ-512k but whenever i use it it doesn’t work instead of controlling the bandwidth it turns out to be out of control coz all bandwidth is flying all over the max in all current users logged in…
