Soon we’re going to switch to a new network provider that uses MPLS. They are going to use a Cisco IAD to provide a PRI to the phone system and ethernet for our internet & private network. The connections will be 3Mbit at some sites and 1.5Mbit at others.
I’d like to be able to implement an upload PCQ and a download PCQ. Unfortunately I won’t know the actual current capacity of the network connection because there are a variable number of phone conversations.
The provider says they will give us anything we want out the IAD. They can send through the MPLS.
Is there any way in the MikroTik to implement PCQ with this setup? I’m guessing it can be done in the IAD but I’d rather use the MikroTik as we will have more control over things.
