There is no right set of PCC rules because everyone’s setup is subtly different.
However considering a home user on consumer grade ISP’s and considering that two of them might be in use then PCC would be the logical Mikrotik based option. Which is where I am at. I found getting PCC working was a challenge and only possible with help from users on this forum. But after that tuning PCC beyond what the official Mikrotik video advises i.e. utilizing the PCC rig properly is the second challenge.
I eventually stumbled on this guys posts and noticed that there was a significant difference from Mikrotik “official” in three areas.
- Rule order.
- Protocol specification in Mangle rules.
- Link aggregation for non HTTPS traffic.
- No passthrough checkmark on the connections responsible for dealing with incoming connections and routing marks.

In my case, once I implemented these mangle rules, not only did we have no further issues, but in many cases we get double throughput.
I am sure there will be cases where the above is flawed or does not work, but in my case, thus far this is offering the most speed and stability.
