Hello fellow MikroTik enthusiasts,
I would like to make this (I’ve also attached it below in case I accidentally delete the drawing) configuration and I was wondering if you could provide me with the commands for doing this with the 8316 switch chip. I was able to easily set up communication between the MirkoTik and the server, but I am having difficulty with the rest of the configuration.
I thought I could define that all packets coming from 192.168.103.10 to be tagged with VLAN 2 and all packets with that destination to be stripped of their tag. This is apparently not possible on an IP basis (although stripping is supported on a port-basis). Do you know of a way to work around this problem or tips that might help me achieve this configuration? Should I consider copying packets destined to this interface to the CPU? I’ve never really understood what the point of copying to the CPU is.
If you would like my justification for this somewhat bizarre scenario, please let me know and I will post it. I decided to omit for the sake of brevity.
Thank you for your time,
Seanny
