Perfect signal - SMTP traffic bombing out!!

I have a tower with 2.9.24 MT, 2 X Senao PCMCIA Cards, 1 X UbiQ 5.8 for backhaul. Am using Simple queues - P2P Blocked. (have P2P blocking on my server aswell as MT) I have 1 watt amps on the cards and the cards are set to 30w output. The tower is on a mountain with ALOT of CB radio towers and 4 X 2.4 ghz WISP’s.

My clients have good signal (EG: 68% Signal strength and 98% Communications Quality - This from the senoa Bridges that I use Clientside.). But yet I’m getting mail sending problems. I have my own SMTP server on my network. I was using new Atheros 8602’s till 2 days ago but these battled to find my clients. IE: Out of 74 Clients on an Antenna it would pick up 4 - then after lots of fiddling and channel changing it eventually picked up the clients. However as soon as i changed the channels it all bombs out again and battles to pickup the clients again.

I hope I have enough info included here. Any Idea’s ?

as you could earler read in these forums amplifiers do more bad than good.

here read the thread

even MT staff said - better do not use amplifier.

Ditch the amp. It is only amplifying the interference you receive from the other WISPs and home wifi networks.
