Hi,
I bought a new router last week. On the Impressive possibilities, it’s fantastic routing, monitoring, pool dhcp vlan, queing, firewall.. but performance, these results are not forthcoming (file transfer between desktop, streaming in video HD…).
So I need you to understand if it’s normal.
I make several test with a direct connection with router with a tool called btest.exe tcp, upd and mtu 1500. to do that, I restored with the base version of the router(6.1)configuration (/system Reset configuration).

is it normal ? My cpu is the bottleneck, it reaches all time 100% despite a low bandwidth especially in tcp mode with only bandwidth 82 Mbps?

Like I told you in a different topic: When testing a router ALWAYS test THROUGH the router, not TO the router.
Running a TCP test to the router is way too demanding for its CPU. You are making it do things that it would not do when traffic is running through the router.
This is true for EVERY router.
