Hi guys, my name is Richard and im going thought a problem on this configuration.
First of all i have a pfsense, with 2 isp on fail over. I have 2 OpenVPN servers running, one of them is for single pcs and uses ovpn client to connect (no problem here). The other server is for remote access from the devices on branch offices, these 3 offices have a RouterBOARD 941-2nD, firmware 6.43.4.
The configuration is simple, no certs, them just use the user database on pfsense for authtentication. It just works, they get ip and everything related to the establishment of the VPN, i have the nat rules, and im able to reach everything.
The problem comes here. If for any reason any mikrotik looses the isp link and comes back or if i disable the ovpn interface and renable it again, the vpn will try to reconnect and get stuck on “link established” to “terminating” and looping on it. I tried a lot of things to get rid of this none of them worked.The only way to get the vpn on connected state again is rebooting the device.
