I’m planning to try a small access point/ backhaul using the above, in preference to our usual UBNT set-ups. With their gear the radios are pretty ‘leaky’ RF wise to the extent where they really need a couple of metres of physical separation, which complicates a low cost ‘put it all up on a scaffold tube’ installation.
Any practical advise on the separation, if any, required for Mikrotiks in these circumstances. Frequencies can be either end of the 5.8G band with max 32dB output powers.
