Ping problem with RB112

Hello,
i installed two RB112 with CM9 Cards, the first is configured like AP bridge, the second like station pseudobridge. the two boards are now connected (i can see that), but no ping between the two cards.
thank you for the help

what are the IP addresses and the rest of configuration? one is “ap_bridge” and other is “station”?

i will try to give all the information:
for the station:
wireless:
mode=station;freq=5805;band=5 GHz;SSID=Techno;defaultauthenticate=yes; ARP=enabled;long preamble;all other parameters are sent to default.
the status: connected to ess.
access list= 00:00:00:00:00:00, interface=unknown
00:0B:6B…: Mac of the bridge, interface=wlan1
both: autheticate=yes, forwarding=yes
IP address: ether1=192.168.1.20; network=192.168.1.0
wlan1=192.168.1.21; network=192.168.1.0
Bridge: nothing

for the AP bridge=
wireless:
mode=ap bridge;freq=5805;band=5 GHz;SSID=Techno;defaultauthenticate=yes; default forward=yes;ARP=enabled;long preamble;all other parameters are sent to default.
the status: running ap.
access list= 00:00:00:00:00:00, interface=unknown
00:0B:6B…: Mac of the station, interface=wlan2
both: autheticate=yes, forwarding=yes
IP address: ether1=192.168.1.17; network=192.168.1.0
wlan1=192.168.1.8; network=192.168.1.0
Bridge: nothing

if other information are needed, please ask me
thanks

hello,
i just ran the mac ping, and it work really good. the problem isn’t in the connection but just in the routing.
which package i need to get the routing working, is it an example to do the routing between the a station and the AP
best reagrds

i have solved the problem: the router don’t accept the same network mask for two different interfaces like i has done, just changing the network mask (and the ip address of the wlan1 to 192.168.0.:sunglasses: has solved the problem.

under Notes was the solution

yes
your routing will invalid when you put same subnet on two or more interfaces
