I was setup a MT OS 3.28 with DNS, Hotspot and Web proxy, then plug it to network and test it with 1 hotspot user on it last night. and didn’t inroduce it as gateway in net. this morning when i came to work the net get conflict…
when i wanna ping two client at first it says time out or reply MT with DEstination net unreachable then reply. i mean;
ping 192.168.10.153
Reply from 192.168.10.4: Destination net unreachable. somr times; Request time out
Reply from 192.168.10.153: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.10.153: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.10.153: bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=128
you can’t see file sharing server untill ping each other or some software that work with file in file server doesn’t work.
MT intenal ip is 192.168.10.4
My current gateway 192.168.10.1
I didn’t use MT as gateway,
why it’s happend? what should i do?
Moreover, HotSpot server may automatically and transparently change any IP address (yes, meaning really any IP address) of a client to a valid unused address from the selected IP pool. If a user is able to get his/her Internet connection working at their place, he/she will be able to get his/her connection working in the HotSpot network. This feature gives a possibility to provide a network access (for example, Internet access) to mobile clients that are not willing (or are disallowed, not qualified enough or otherwise unable) to change their networking settings. The users will not notice the translation (i.e., there will not be any changes in the users’ config), but the router itself will see completely different (from what is actually set on each client) source IP addresses on packets sent from the clients (even the firewall mangle table will ‘see’ the translated addresses). This technique is called one-to-one NAT, but is also known as “Universal Client” as that is how it was called in the RouterOS version 2.8.

I couldn’t undrstand why it’s happened. I read about one-to-one NAT. but don’t know why when only i plug it to net, two other stations sometimes; can’t ping to gether sometimes get time out and sometimes reply is comming from MT (192.168.10.4);“Destination net unreachable” as above
I was setup a ROS 2.9 with out this problem (they have own ip as above network an can connect to gether) but in that case i use MT as gateway server. with DNS, Hotspot.

When i coonect the router to net Some client that have Eset smart security(Antivirus + Firewall) Eset detect ARP poisioning attack and close other connection to client but i don’t know about other…
Last night i replce the NIC of router and now i don’t have that problem.
one question; the router can track connectin between two other clients in net if it do something like ARP poisioning it reduce the performance of net. If it’s correct what should i do?
Yes.
I said about router Action like ARP Poisioning. i can see the connections between two other client’s in net in /Firewall/connections with out login to hotspot by them!!
