Ping Script and RB750GL

If i have a script that pings 20 to 30 devices all at once every 5 minutes, does this have any effect on the router performance, and can it slow down network traffic any way, or are the scripts totally independent of network performance?

Ping takes up almost nothing of bandwidth.
There will be no negative effect.
Ping packages are very small.

I checked the cpu during the pings and it only went up to around 2-3%.

I think I will be ok.
