Can anyone tell me how accurate the MikroTik “Ping Speed” feature is and is this a good indication of how much throughput I am getting over a particular link?

My experience is that this should only be used as a very (very!) rough estimate. It’s really more a kind of “guessing” as I see it, and will vary greatly if you have jumping ping times for example. Just my 2 (Euro-)cents…
.. so better use bandwidth test (not from-to router, but from-to computers behind routers)
