Anybody having trouble with the accuracy of the pings with Dude? If I run a continuous ping from DOS and the Dude simultaneously they disagree. A lot. If the dude shows an outage, I reboot my pc and all is good(not always but often) and ping times will settle down. Many pings come in at <1ms and in dos it shows a solid 3ms. Any ideas as to what could be casing this problem?
This may or may not be related but I’ve noticed that in the beta versions, the ping always comes from the local machine no matter if I tell it to ping from the server or an agent or what.
Forgot to mention I am using 2.2 on xpsp2. Server and client on on same machine here. However I got the same results with another machine(same config) at a different location on my network. An xp issue perhaps?
