Ping Works.. traceroute times out

I have a STRANGE problem. I have 1 node out of 25 that doesnt traceroute properly. When I ping it works with no loss. When I traceroute I get frequent timeoutes. I dont understand how a ping can work perfect and a traceroute either not work totaly. or fail completely.

Any ideas where I should start looking? I am using STATIC routing with no NAT for this issue.

check the routeing tables (on client and router), also make sure you’re not blocking the required ICMP ports for tracert, I can’t recall what they are off the top of my head, but I’m sure google can assist.
