playing whit NPK drivers file, from version to version....

HI again.

Can i use the NPK drivers files of the MKTK 2.9.6 in an older versión of mktk ? ( like 2.8.26 )

The thing is that i have two atheros ( dwl-g510 ) that works fine on this version ( or at least they dont have problems in the detection ), but thery are not supported on the 2.8.26 version.

the 2.9.6 versión has serveral problems, so i decided to come back to my old 2.8.26 mikrotik until i get the newest versión ( 2.9.12 )

So,… can i overwrite the drivers NPK file of the 2.8.26 and replace it whit the 2.9.6 NPK drivers ?

No. You can only use packages from the same version together. There’s no chance to use a 2.9.6 wireless package together with a 2.8.28 system.

Apart from that: You should REALLY try the 2.9.12 - this has huge improvements especially in the wireless drivers!
