Hello room , please am having a real difficult time connecting Linksys AP’s to Mikrotik router as Wireless clients…can this be ever achieved and if it is possible , please can you guide me on how to do it. I 'll appreciate your support.

After ruling out no line of sight, distance and respective powers of the radios and antennas at either end, the other thing to confirm would be whether the linksys AP is using any form of encryption or any other setting (mac filtering, vpn, etc) that is intended to keep intruders out (that would be assuming the AP does not belong to you). If so all of that would have to be sorted out first.
Mikrotik in station mode.
Scan for wireless networks available.
Identify SSID of linksys AP.
Click connect and then ok.

Thank you so much for your reply, i really appreciate your contribution. I am actually working on a project and i want to repeat my mikrotik signal with Linksys APs in weak points to boost it. I want to eliminate wires and want to connect the linksys to the mikrotik just to repeat the signal and relay whatever thee mikrotik has … is it possible… thank you so much.

WDS is probably what ur looking for, but it’s going to be herculean getting both radios to ‘talk’ to each other with wds - if they do start off, they could just as easily ‘switch off’ without warning! Results are unpredictable.
Alternatively, if the linksys ap you’ve got is one of their so called wireless range extenders that have two radios in one unit, then you have a full fledged repeater and life would be a whole lot easier.
I’m not sure about the linksys ap you have, but some other products (like senao) have a so called universal repeater mode that sort of acts like wds but allows you a little extra flexibility with ssid and so on. This has worked for me personally. But again the results could be unpredictable.
For optimal performance i say ensure both radios in wds repeater mode are of the same manufacturer and if possible the same model.
