That button called “reset all counters” at hotspot users window is just made for troubles
There must be at least a warning pop up message that warns me i’m about to reset all accounts
And this is what i actually did by mistake
The button is only a few pixels away from the Active tab window so it’s easy to click on the wrong button if you lose focus in matter of fractions of seconds
and because of this i lost a thousands of accounts (Thanks God i have a backup 5 days ago)
So please do something winbox developers 
I have not tested it to see if in a situation like this would work but did you try the undo button ?

Undo button is working for adding deleting and modifying of rules and users manually that you can revert back
but not for statistics of the accounts (limit byte totals and uptime which is working in the core of hotspot server and updated automatically)
It’s normal behavior to show a pop-up window messages for such critical actions .. a simple click on a button to reset a thousands of accounts with no warning message !!
