Then you should be good to go. ![]()
Can you ping www.google.com from your localnets?
ADD: You DO NOT want a dhcp server on port 1. That would cause some problems!
I can ping Google form both port 4 and port 5
EDIT : then I was setup up the dhcp server on port4 and port5, if took the details from my port1 internet gateway and dns
Not bad, was it? The major part was disabling the default setup on the RB750.
You’re welcome! ![]()
hehe, Now its only the last thing… I want to add a fiirewall between port4 and port5
because those 2 networks must be isolated form each other…
I can ping from network 192.168.0.0 to network 192.168.1.0
that must be heavy denied
and…what does masquerade means?
I posted those two rules above. Look up a couple posts!
masquerade means all these ips will appear on the internet (and your other router) as the ip on port 1.
sweeeeeeeeet. man your the best!!!
only have one last question, how hard will it be to do load balancing with 2 WAN’s (ADSL)
and fail over..maybe
There are better than I here on those subjects, but both are possible. The “User Manual” link above has some really good stuff in it. There is a “RouterOS User Topics” section that has some good examples entered by forum users. Those subjects are covered.
ok cool I’ll check it out then I’ll need to upgrade to load balancing, thx man, god bless…thank you for helping me, now its perfect. now my 2 networks in isolated… ![]()
You’ve made my day…
