Please MT explain "frequency-offset" option

As I found nothing in the Wiki and here in the forum, it will be great if someone from MT explain this option “frequency-offset=” in /interface/wireless on ros4.10.
And what is its range (-2147483648..2147483647) meaning ?
Thanks.

Ohh man, you can try it using numbers there, there are only about 4000000000 possibilities to try. xDD only a joke!

If you have a card that is supposed to be, say, 3500MHz, but RouterOS sees it as 5400MHz, it means the card uses a frequency converter.

You can now enter the offset value, to make it easier for you to understand which 5GHz value you have to set to get the desired 3GHz value.
