Please recommend storage media for RouterOS for x86

I tryed USB, but router freezed after a few weeks (I couldnt login to winbox).
So I tryed CFtoSATA adapter but after connecting Routeros using this storage CPU usage was abou 40% more than using USB.


So please could you recommend me some workinG storage for RouterOS?
Routeros 5.26.

Are you sure the freeze was because of the USB drive?
I use a USB stick in my home router (x86). It is rock stable for months.
The stick is a Kingston DT SE9.
