Dude has evolved nicely from the last time I tried it - I have switched back to it.
However a nagging irritation still exists - the column widths and sort orders are not retained when switching between the various views. Examples:
I set the syslog view to sort by time descending so recent items are at the top and widen the event column to see more of the text. Go to device view, then back to syslog and its back to time ascending, default event column width.
In the device view I widen the name, type, and services down columns and sort by name. Switch views and come back - all defaulted again.
PLEASE - I know development time on Dude is limited, but this seems to be a basic useability issue. I’ve only worked with VB.Net, but coding to retain the grid states isn’t that complex - especially if it’s just column widths and sort orders.
Thanks for your hard work!
