Plugged in new CCR and Smoke came out

A few weeks ago we had a router issue so my partner thought changing the router would fix it. He grabbed the backup CCR off the shelf and plugged it in. We heard a pop and that was it. No boot, no light, no fans. The power supply was gone.
Can I buy a new PSU for it?

Which model? Which power supply? Internal or External?

Have you opened and inspected it? There could be more damage than the PSU…

I’d contact your supplier for a spare if out of warranty, in the meanwhile you can open it and if visual inspection shows no PCB components were damaged (no bulged out capacitors, signs of burns or decoloration) you can test it with an external DC PSU, look at the rightmost side, near the top in the pic, there’s a round DC connector (just below the rightmost top PCB mounting hole in the image):

There are readily available 60W and 120W 24DC external PSUs (power bricks) you can test it with.

Any PSU from 13-30V will do, given it has enough power rating (the lower the voltage, the higher the amperage it should provide).
