i have RB 951
users log in using hotspot (N&P), ip\address 192.x.1.x
in the active users there is 5 or 6 users with ip’s (192.x.1.xxx)
but in hosts there is mor than 5 or 6 (including those in active )
and some of them have ip (192.x.3.xxx)
i don’t have this ip range at all (tow interface out (192.x.1.x) in (192.y.y.y))
plz is there is any thing wrong ???
If you have the network open (no wireless security), then that is normal. Those are devices that are connected to the interface, but not logged in.
Some devices do not renew the lease until the expiration time, and some are static assignment, so they end up connected to your system with those ips. If you have not disabled the hotspot NAT, those will be translated to 192.168.1.x ips by the hotspot. You should see that in “/ip hotspot host” as the “to-address”.
