How about a winbox that can run on a pocket PC.
WoooW!!!
This is a cool one…
Typical MT solution would be:
Install Linux (it isn’t soo hard), install Wine. And Emulate it
.
jokin
it is good idea but must have some specifics like high data compresion in order to achieve small data transfer from and to the PDA
the webbox runs on PDA’s. also there are tons of SSH clients ![]()
never heard that someone actually can isntal linux on just any pda and even wine on top of it… how much space you need for that?
Well, running Linux on an PDA is not that hard - but if you can run Wine on it? I don’t think so ![]()

But I’m not sure how much CPU power you will need
.
Why do you need Winbox when you can open a SSH tunnel to the MikroTik device? I have a I-mate K-Jam and use PocketPutty to connect to my linux servers, including MikroTik
maybe because its more clicking than typing all
