Hello. A few day ago I have a problem with PoE 802.3 on CRS328-24P-4S+RM. Scheme: crs328-24p->cap ac. I have two pair cable cat 5e. I know from this cable only 100 Mbps/s. On this cable don’t work PoE 802.3. If I use switch other brand with this cable and this cap ac - it’s work. In winbox on CRS328P in Ethernet port settings I select PoE auto or high, select forced on - it’s no result. What am i doing wrong?
From the product page for the CRS328-24P-4S+RM:
PoE-Out is passed over mode B pins (4,5+)(7,8-).
That won’t work on your 2 pair cable.
