I’m trying to replace a 333 routerboard with a 433 one but I found a problem, when the router starts, it works fine, then after 10 minutes it stops sending or receiving packets in that port, eth2 and eth3 work perfect. I’ve been trying to do it about 3 or 4 times and I got the same problem, I had to move all my configuration to another port in order to work. I’ve also tryed using a 1000 routerboard and got the same problem.
I did the upgrade as you said to 2.17 and the problem was the same, then it got worse and I had to use my 333 again, also tryed doing it different OS versions 3.10, and 3.00 and I got the same problem. I just figured out that disabling the default route, which is the one that goes out on the POE interface, and enabling it again the problem is gone, but then after a while it comes again. I don’t know why is that happening, but I said I did a replacement of a routerboard 333 to a 1000, and another 333 to a 433 and it is the same (I did a backup on the 333 and restore it on them) I had to use the ether3 instead ether1 in order to work. If there is any way solving it please reply as soon as possible.
