PoE out port - hEXs RB760iGS

Hello,

I have two similar routerboards (hEXs RB760iGS) both have the exact same configuration. For some reason, when I connect an Ubiquiti AP to the ether5 port to get the PoE, the AP does not power on, I did this many times before with similar configurations on this model and I never had to change anything.

I decided to try and set this option in order to see if I could fix it myself:

/interface ethernet poe set 0 poe-out=auto-on

Once I did this, the port started working normally, like it always did, and the AP was working as well. (Again, never had to touch the config in order to accomplish this). So everything was fine until this point, I went and did the same thing on the other routerboard expecting it was going to work but, to my surprise, I received this error from console:

/interface ethernet poe> set 0 poe-out=auto-on
failure: This model does not support poe-out auto-on mode

¿Could anyone explain this? Both routerboards are the exact same model and firmware version (6.45.7 mmips)

When entering command /interface ethernet poe set 0 poe-out= enter a question-mark (?) as the next symbol … it should display available (permissible) settings.

Like I said, it is the exact same model and the first one worked perfectly. As you can see on this screenshot, it offers me the option when I press the (?) key.

Can you set it to forced-on mode? If you can’t do it (or if you can but you want to pursue the issue), then create supout.rif file and send it to support@mikrotik.com …
