Hello friends,

I have PtMP wireless system, all clients are connected to APs with 5Ghz Band A, I need to fix each client data rate, I tried to limite each client from data rate to 6 MB but it effect to all users sum, I mean when I checked 6Mb on clients data rate and let the data rate on ap be unlimited, ap just limited to the 6MB.

I tried to limit client on access list but it decrease the CCQ and clients wont have good bandwidth.

so I need 100/100 CCQ
and limit each client CPE to 5 MB on wireless

Have you tried queueing? I guess it is better than influencing the wireless.

I have accounting server so no need to manual queue, but actually there is security risk to let CPEs have unlimited bandwidth to AP.

So you can try queues on the Ap.

Add stations to Access List.
Double click on mac/line/etc.
Set Ap Tx limit.
Set Ap Rx limit.
Done.

Or set 5Mhz channel.
Limit the speed at client station is a very good practice also as jarda said.

Hotspot will ask RADIUS server whether to allow the login or not. If not allowed, alogin.html page will be displayed (it can be modified to do anything). If not allowed, flogin.html (or login.html) page will be displayed, which will redirect client back to the external authentication server.
