Point to Multipoint Setup

Another one from me

I’ve searched the forum and still I can’t find out on how to do my setup.

My setup are as follows:

  • 4 APs mounted on a distribution tower to cover 360 degree coverage. Omni antenna is out of the question as the coverage is not that good at long range.
  • 1 AP at my house few hundred meter away from the tower.

On my last installation I use 4 TP-Link WA5210G AP each set at bridge mode pointing to base station. I don’t think many of my client have dual band wireless adapter so I transmit at 2.4GHz signal only and yes I can sell my internet connection to my customer.

My TP-Link don’t do well with external antenna so I’m searching for another solution that can give me more distance from my house to the distribution tower.

I’m thinking of SXT 2 G-HnD.

All 4 APs will have same channel and SSID. I want to point my master AP at home to the tower and each AP at the tower will repeat my signal and client around the tower can connect to the internet through my internet line at home. All done wirelessly. The tower will have its own power by solar and battery.

How do I setup this with MT? Ubiquiti is good but not talking the same language as my budget.
