Point to Point Link Security Parameter

Hello

Can any one suggest me the security parameter which we need to take care for making point to point link

ie.

Security Key
Preshared Key
Hide SSID
default Authentication

So which more parameter we need to take in to consideration to making more secure the link

i would suggest using access list (on AP end) and connect list (on Client end) once the link has a registration right click on it and click “add to access list” or “add to connect list” that way its locked down to those two devices,

once you have it as a paired link that way go to wireless security where you set your WPA2 AES keys, set the “management protection key” to allow and add a key there two, make sure its on at both ends, once its all been linked together set this to required, then on the AP end turn “default authentication” off

ive used this method on a CCTV network which is using RB711’s

(if it needs explaining further, let me know and i might be able to either re-word it or send a few scripts)

you need to somehow improve your CCQ more to 100% the better, this could be achieved by increase / decrease the power, but looking at your signal strength i would imagine it needs either more height or some obstuctions out of the way,

hope this helps ? lol
