Point to Point Routing Problem

I am new in MikroTik and i have RB1100AHx2 at my end with I.P address 192.168.6.5/24 and on other hand we have CISCO 2811 With I.P address 192.168.6.2/24 everything is fine when we have gateway with above mention address at CISCO end but when we change computers gateway from 192.168.1.2/24 to 192.168.30.1/24 it does not ping any node having I.P Address of 192.168.6.0/24 Pool meanwhile previously we were using CISCO 2811 at both end and everything was fine with both gateways 192.168.1.2/24 and 192.168.30.1/24
So any one please can help me in this i will be very thankful for him or her..

Prompt reply’s will be very highly appreciated.

Please can u send a sketch diagramm of what you have on ground now. The IP address is confusing cos it looks odd to me. But we can sort it out if u can send me the sketch. Thanks.

Dear Friend;

i added two images of my old network’s routing and I.P settings and it will show you how i had performed Routing in CISCO 2811 Router and same is the scenario again but the only difference is that this time i am trying MikroTik Router RB1100AHx2 instead of CISCO 2811 at location ( Router Site.jpg ) so please dear check the images clearly and could you rectify what’s happening here while i also tried using same I.P 192.168.6.2 of my old network but it does response only 192.168.1.0/24 Pool only and it does not 192.168.30.0/24 Pool meanwhile in old scenario both pools were working fine..

Thanks in Advance..

I prefer L2 links with an SVI for routing. It gives you flexibility to span VLANs over the link if you need to. Honestly though it doesn’t matter too much. Just make sure you think it through with regards to your design and your environment before you pick which way you will do it.

I have seen the image for the cisco config and how it’s working. Are u replacing Mikrotik with cisco are you trying to implement same in another site? In any case can u also send the interface for the Mikrotik so i can also see where things went wrong. ?
Thanks
