Pointing dishes

Hi!!!

I’m new using mikrotik devices.
I got a pair of RB433/dishes, when I configure them inside office everything went well, obviously pointing dishes with 30ft of separation its easy, and I now the configuration was fine.

The problem is pointing RB/dish A on the main office to RB/dish B on the branch office located at almost 2.2 miles, so I cant see anything, i’m just calculating the direction, but I wonder if mikrotik has some kind of tool to assist on pointing/aligment step. Mostly what I need is how to find the point B because I cannot even see it because it is so far.

If not, please share with me what method do you use to get the dishes point perfectly one to another.

Do you have clear line of sight between locations?

I wish to be sure of it, The most I get is I can ping from one point to another, but when I try to transfer files it is slow and pings start to get lost. So probably I have nothing between blocking.

Have you done the calculations to check for fresnel? You have some some that additionally will tell you the azimut so that you can use a compass (your smartphone surely has one) to aid in pointing.

Which Parabolic dishes are you using?
