policy routing 2.9.8

I just upgraded one of our non-production MTs to 2.9.8 from 2.8.28 . I primarily prefer on using winbox for simplicity. How do you go about setting up plociy routes using winbox. Earlier it was very simple.

We also have a production router which is doing bgp using the regular bgp package and also using policy routes on this for controlling outflow traffic from certain internal machines. We have multiple routing tables. Would the upgrade be automatic for policy routes or do we have to do them again ?

Policy routing configuration should be restored manually after upgrade.

I would like to know how to redo them using winbox ?

IP->Routes->(Routes|Rules)

But you probably already know this :wink:

The interface closely resembles 2.8.x systems so it won’t be hard to rebuild your config.

Actually I used the Tables . Tried playing around but it did not work .But now there is no Tables tab which is why I asked how to get this done correctly ?

[Rules] tab does the same

How do the tables get created ???

just add a new rule, type the new table name into the table box - you will then have a new table. It is like the chains in the firewall :slight_smile: but without the ability to filter which ones you then see :frowning:
