Hi all,

I want to configure MT with Four Group.

VIP Group - Open Speed with No Restriction.

Super User Group - Good Speed with No Restriction.

Gerenal Group - Average Speed with Some Access Restriction( Some Sites will be blocked)

User - Fixed Speed with Restriction.


I dont want to put any Authentication for all the group. Every one get access any time without login and get access accrodingly Group Policy.

Please HELP me How to do.

If you do not want to use any authentification, how do you plan to identify users and (after having identified them) determine to what group they belong?

Do you plan to use the MikroTik router as a hotspot or not? (Hotspot will give you more options to implement your requirements, IMHO).

I am NOT going to use any authentication method…I am confused how to do it…Please explain me

I understand that you do not want your users to authenticate, but nevertheless you could still use a hotspot or not. So what will it be?

4 NICs, 4 VLANs, 4 IP Ranges, 4 Different Queue types… There’s a million ways to do this…

Ok, If i will use address List, How can i define Diferrent Bandwidth to the perticular Address LIST

Excuse me SIR,

I have seven Diferent network

1st network - some IPS in first Group and some are in second group
Same for other network.

I.E - My first group having IPS from some IPs from all Network.

In that case it will NOT work.

But that’s one of the benefits of using the address-list feature:
You can group the most different ip addresses/ranges together and refer them with one symbolic name when doing queueing etc. later on.

mangle 1st group of customer ip to 1st address-list to 1 rule using ip/firewall/mangle
mangle 2st group of customer ip to 2nd address-list… and so on

Use queue tree to set bandwidth for the group of people. try it.

Dear Shielder,

I have tried with MAngle & Queue tree, But Getting Open Bandwidth after putting Limit=25K & max limit=50k.

Its NOT working, any other idea
