I have a PC (Intel CPU) running RouterOS 3.23 with 2 RB44 and 2 additional generic NICs. I made an RSTP bridge on the ethers to measure throughput when connecting to a 10 Mbps WAN. This was a small experiment because I was having some kind of low performance in a HotSpot, so I wanted to check throughput with bridges…
I found out that:
Generic NIC to Generic NIC gave me 10 Mbps
Generic NIC to RB44 gave me 4 Mbps
RB44 to other RB44 gave me 4 Mbps
RB44 to same RB44 (other port) gave me 1Mbps
Why is RB44 so slow???
With generic network cards I had no trouble at all, but when using RB44, obviously perfomance went down.
Can RB44 be configured somehow to provide better throughput ?
Gentlemen we have a problem, install version 3.23 on an HP server ml150g2, has a single pci slot so RB44G use. but we have serious problems. connected, are assigned IP as Running all doors when you do not have all the ports connected even further when it starts in a minute left to send and receive packets card is running but No transfers data.
we have to put it on and then disable and enable trasnferir data starts for a short time, then fail again.
any idea that could happen or if I have to use a vercion earlier this server?
