We have some developers working on a unisys system they claim is getting hit with a request on port 8291 every hour from our Dude server, which is a 2008 Windows server running the Dude.
For whatever reason this seems to be interferring with their troubleshooting right now, and I can’t seem to figure out how to prevent the Dude from making this hourly probe. I’ve tried adding the unisys computer to the blacklist and that hasn’t seemed to work. Rather, it worked in preventing the Dude from making it’s typical quater hourly probes (ftp, www, ssh, etc, etc…), but not this hourly probe on 8291.
Any suggestions on how I can disable this, aside from completely shutting the Dude down?
