port blocked?

Hi to all!

I have a litle problem and I need help.
In my company, we are running 3CX PBX and we have a RB450G. All worked fine till today when the router was rebooted..

I think the port 5060 is somehow blocked.. The port is just used to establish a call or a connection with the VoIP provider and to connect phones to the 3CX PBX..
The funny thing is that the phones connect on the PBX but the PBX cann not establish a connection with the provider thru the same port.. can somebady tell me why??
On the PBX logs I see there is a internal problem (errors 503-“service unavailable” and 408-“request timeout”)

Any Ideas?

edit: when I change the port of the VoIP provider to port 5072 (it is a test port not the default port) it connects.. but I need to connect with the port 5060..

The port is not blocked, but probably there is NAT, which is blocking direct communications.

thanks for replay..

In the meantime I solved the problem.. But I still don’t understand it..

I just put another port in the configuration of 3cx, turned it again on 5060 and it works..

cann somebady explain to me what happened?

Thanks,
