Hello
I’m beginner i need some help
I need to open port 1433 on my router so other users can connect to my static ip on port 1433
Thank you
well then you may setup DST-NAT(either by DST-nat itself or Netmap) on appropriate ports
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/Firewall/NAT
1433 is MS SQL, which is a huge target for hackers. You should think about using VPN tunnels to pass the traffic instead.
I agree with IntrusDave about setting up a VPN, it’s much more secure.
Here’s an answer anyway:
In winbox:
IP > Firewall > NAT +
Chain dstnat
Protocol 6 (tcp)
Dst. Port: 1433
Action tab
Action dst-nat
To Addresses: (IP address of the pc on local lan you would like to port forward to) ex: 192.168.88.2
To Ports: 1433
Click Ok
Hope that helps. I’d right click on the rule and disable when you don’t need the port forwarded (for safety).
