Port Forwarding Garena LOL and HON

Hi,

I wonder which one is the correct way to port forward games such as Heroes of Newerth and League of Legends in Mikrotik OS. I have seen video tutorials from Youtube using different techniques the problem is there is no actually testing of their tutorials, they just show you how to set-up and they will not show whether it works or not. What I’ve seen so far are the following techniques:

  1. IP - Firewall - NAT - Chain - dstnat - (adding dst. port)

Under Action Tab - Action dst-nat - “to addresses”, and “to ports”

  1. IP - Firewall - Mangle - Chain - Forward

Add Source Address, Protocol (TCP or UDP), and Destination Port, Add Connection Mark

Under Action Tab - Action (Mark connection) - New connection mark - Passthrough (checked)

I’m not really sure which one is the correct way to port forward games to Mikrotik, any experts in port forwarding games in Mikrotik can you please enlighten me?
