Port forwarding

Hello, I’m a customer to a ISP that uses the MikroTik router…I have that router hooked up to a NetGear router, before it was hooked up to the NetGear router, I was able to load my game server etc without portforwarding(and port 80 etc)…Now I have the netgear router hooked up and I try to load my local site via my ip etc, and I get the ‘mikrotik routeros > administration’ page. I’m not sure exactly what I should do…If anyone could tell me, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks(and I’m sorry if this is wrong forum or something)

Dont know why you put in netgear. If to get more connections Sound to me as though you have some sort of routing or nat setup. Dont know netgear but should have a setup as bridge set it as bridge and should function again. If you want to pur more than one computer on mikrotik with netgear, then it might be that you do not have nat setup

Well, what’s NAT…:p? And before the router…It was just one desktop pc, now we’ve added the router and it’s for a desktop and laptop.

Basically NAT allow you to use more than one IP (PC) to make use of just one ip on the WAN (internet) side. Google it for better explanation.
