Port Security - Whitelisting MAC Addresses or ?

Hi,

I’m curious how you guys secure the ports on the switch so that unauthorized device is not connected via the port on the switch.
I was also thinking if it’s worth locking down ports via MAC Filtering, if that’s possible and if so, how can I do it ? I saw “ACL” tab at the top, is that the place to lock down the ports ?

Any recommendations ?

I have never had a need to restrict MACs on specific ports on a switch, but yes, you could do that with the ACL.
