I have 2 wireless interfaces in a router both of them are used for backhauls, they both go to different towers and there is no bridging or anything being done on them aside from nstreme, just a regular ap-bridge and station setup, once one of the interfaces lost it’s backhaul lost the other interface that is still running with the other end connected goes haywire with tx/rx packets when the other interface loses it’s link, what has been triggering that is I have a pingplotter running on a customer which the network he is on is routed through the backhaul interface that is currently down at the moment, if I stop my monitoring tool then the packet count goes back to normal and the icmp traffic stops, but even though the network its supposed to be going to is down I’m not sure why it’s trying to go out another interface even though in the routing table it says the interface is unknown because it’s not linked to the other side, is this a bug or has anyone else seen this? I was running 2.9.38 but upgraded to 2.9.48 and it still does the same thing, if anyone needs anymore information or screenshots let me know, I’ve seen this on 2 separate occasions.
