Possible "Stall" Bug

Issue:
Client radio’s connection “stalls”.

Description:
Client radio will not transmit data, only displays one side of tx/rx signal in wireless registration on AP.

Versions affected:
I believe I have witnessed this on radios as early as 6.11, and as late as 6.18, however, is very common on 6.12 and 6.15

How to reproduce:
This is not an issue I have can reproduce, happens intermittently. I believe I typically see this on 802.11, and can’t confirm that I have witnessed it on nstreme or NV2 enabled towers.

Notes:
Can re-establish connection by simply booting the client radio out, and when it associates again, connection will be restored, and tx/rx signals both display properly in AP registration.

Does it start working again if you disable and then enable the interface?

If I disable/enable it produces the same effect that kicking the device out of the AP registration does, after it reconnects everything is hunky-dory. I’m just trying to figure out if anyone else has experienced this. We have 1000+ customers, the extreme majority tik, and I have witnessed this probably between 15-20 times in recent months. I’m not sure if it’s hardware or software. This is something we never really saw before, and only appears to be on newer versions of routerboard OS.

A solution found?
