Potential Bandwidth bottleneck or limiter

Hello.
I am brand new to working with Mikrotik hardware. I am supporting a school with 3 campuses that each have a Mikrotik router, Ubiquiti Cloud Key and Ubiquiti WAPs. Each campus has Spectrum Business Internet at 200Mbps. At the elementary campus I have personally tested the Spectrum speeds at the Spectrum modem/router and have seen at or close to the 200Mbps speeds of their plan.

However, when connecting via Wi-Fi I’m only seeing 30-50Mbps download. I’ve been all through the Wireless equipment settings and do not find anything that would be limiting a single client to that speed. So now I’m investigating the Mikrotik settings. So far I’ve looked at the Queues and each interface has only-hardware-queue applied. I’ve looked at that queue type but it doesn’t really tell me what that queue does.

Where else could I look in the Mikrotik to see if something is limiting either the overall bandwidth of an interface or that of clients connecting through the router? Is there a place to configure the interface used for WAN to say it is connected to an “X” circuit speed? I’m just at a loss.

I should mention that at this point in time I only have access via WinBox.

Thank you!

I was just able to conduct a bandwidth test from the Mikrotik. I got an average of 53Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. The router is directly connected to the Spectrum modem. Spectrum plan is 200Mbps and I see close to that with a laptop wired into the modem.

The 10Mbps is the plan upload speed.

So I don’t think I’m crazy that something seems to be limiting the bandwidth at the Mikrotik but there are no queues configured other than the only-hardware-queue.
