Power problem after assembling RB433

Hey guys!
I just finished assembling my RB433 routerboard.
I tried powering up the unit but as soon as I connected the AC adapter, the blue LED blinked once and then it shut down.
It seems like the RB433 is off completely after that. If I try to replug it, same thing happens. Blue led comes on for a sec then off completely. Nothing else happens.
Any suggestions on what might be happening?
I am using a 48V adapter that was supplied by my distributor.
Is that the correct one? I am affraid to damage the board if the supplier sent me the wrong AC adapter.
Thanks much in advance,
Teo

You should have read the manual and specs.
The RB433 takes 28V maximum.
It has over-voltage protection, so you probably didn’t burn it, but you do need the right adapter for it.
Use 24V or 18V or 12V.

Hi,
Yeah I noticed the board and everything, they shipped the wrong one and I didn’t check the label when it arrived.
Anyways, I will return it. I tested it on 12V and works like a charm.

Teo
