Power save mode on AP?

I have a ap that is powered by solar and batteries. I am curious if anyone has used a ‘power saver’ mode at an ap and with what results.

My understanding is that with power save mode turned on the card will ‘power down’ between beacon frames and wake to hear the frames to determine if it needs to go ‘active’.

I’ve never tried or really researched this sort of feature on MK or from an ap end.

Any insight on this feature or power save options would be appreciated.

RouterOS AP supports power save mode, but only if the CPE device supports it. Unfortunately, RouterOS as a client doesn’t support it.
