Power supply for Mikrotik RB750UPr2 hEX PoE lite

Hello! I recently bought a PoE Mikrotik, model: RB750UPr2 hEX PoE lite, and I’m planning to connect IP cameras to it. The original power supply adapter is supposed to be 24V - 2.5A. but because I bought it from a friend and it was without a box he gave it to me with a power supply adapter which was 24V - 3500mA. Since I am new to the mikrotik world I want to know if the higher amperage would be a problem for the Mikrotik and for the cameras which I want to connect to it? I want to connect 3 cameras which will be 12V DC PoE (Type IEEE 802.3af) Max Consumption:4.6W each. For this mikrotik the maximum output per port is 1A, which in my calculations is max 12W for the device, but my problem is with the adapter, is it too powerful? Is there any chance of overloading and burning down the cameras and the mikrotik?

On power supplies the electrical current (A) it says the quantity that it can supply. It not says that it is the only that it can supply.

Problems comes when you use a power supply with not enough electrical current (A) and/or with different voltage (v).

Using DC connector, the camera needs 12v to power on, but using PoE, normally needs 48v. Check it.

Regards.
