Power supply Problems

Hi to all. Im setting up a rb 433 and im having a problem wich i think is power supply problems.
I have a cable of about 60 meters and poe suply is 12v and 1amp at the other end of the cable and im getting lose wireless sometimes and when i try it with a smal cable don t have this problems. can it be power supply problems? And if so what power suply should i use?

thanks in advance

Had a similar issue with just 10m of cable run, RB133 and 2 wireless cards. A 24v adapter should do just fine.

thanks for the hint. Gonna buy then a 24v power adapter

I have setup with a 24 volt power suply and it gets better something but not very much. Wireless signal always keep getting and going and i lose conection to the rb433.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Thanks

What is the amperage of the 24Volt power supply?
How many radios did you install in the RB433?

I recommend laptop power supply of between 19-24VDC with not less than 2.5A current rating.

Just one radio. The amperage of 24v power suply is 1AMP. I tried also with a 18,5 power suply from laptop with 3.5 amp and im getting same problem. It apear that is just keeps rebooting

You might have unreliable connectivity at 100mbps if your Ethernet cable is not of very good quality and the span is long.

Force the interface to only negotiate 10mbps and see if the connectivity is stable.

/interface ethernet set [find name=ether1] speed=10Mbps auto-negotiation=no

NB: Replace ether1 with the name of the interface in question.

Ok. Gonna try and post results. But cable is good is cat6 category and use shiel rj45 plugs
